My All-Clad pan I have used regularly for 20 years has been looking a bit  grimy and sad so I used a bit of Bar Keepers Friend and it's good as new.

how do I keep a pan from looking like this? I don't use metal, I handwash  it, I never use a heat higher than 4, but after a year if daily use
